I never thought war would sprout twice during my time on Earth, but it did. My God did it ever. Eight years after the Second World War and we were already involved in war once more. Not just with Europe, but with the World. It was a slaughter. There were too many alliances to count; once something was done one alliance would most probably dissolve.
We fought because we were told to fight by the government. The UN was gone, past alliances were broken and new ones were made with past enemies.

She pulled her cell phone off of her belt loop and flicked it open, staring at the time despite the fact that it was displayed on the radio in her car. Another shake of the head occurred then she put the phone away. She opened the door then slipped out, her sneakers hitting the asphalt. She shifted her jeans, the gun holster on her belt slapping against her thigh. She glanced down at the GUSH t-shirt she wore then made her way up to the front porch.
